    Curving, yeah, my theory follows what you posted. But as the light wave is bent by near by objects it looses energy, but only small amounts. The loss translate into the wave and causes the wave to spread (to maintain light speed). Results in Red Shifting, which is observed in distant galaxies as the light has more gravity fields to travel through.

    Though, very recently scientists have claimed to have observed faster then light speed particles. And I don't believe in the Big Bang theory as put by modern science. I doubt the universe is expanding faster from us in relationship to distance. The loosing of energy in light (and other spectrum energies) makes it appear distant galaxies are racing away from us. I believe the creation of this universe was so distant in the past it practically becomes unreal from distortion through time. When the laws of physics were different and chaotic.

    It is a good mental exercise. Perceiving a past as far back as one can imagine. Beyond ancient, an eternal past beyond the boundaries of time.

    We all have a mental concept of universe depth being eternal. How far out are we capable of imagining? I believe the mind that understands space at the greatest distance possible becomes the primary consciousness surrounding the rest of us.

    Everything is a frequency resonating on the basic of all energy, the one force.

      Very interesting stuff here...But for the moment I'd like to swing the chat back from the esoteric edge to a practical matter concerning the possible beneficial effect of using a strong magnetic field in the medium of electro-plating of ferrous metals. A while back, I did a tangent post of the subject of electro-plating the installation hold-down claw for the 2.8L -3.1L aluminum front engine cover. The outcome of my experiment was a mixed bag of results; functional in that the hold-down claw was completely plated and no longer subject to rusting...but ugly as a mutt dog because the nickel and copper ions asymmetrically adhered to the clean, oddly shaped polished steel piece. This discussion has prompted me to wonder if using magnetism might enhance the deposition of these ions and perhaps enhance their ability to reach into the odd nooks and crannies and give a more uniform plating outcome. As a school kid (Uh...that would be well over fifty years ago for me...ugh!) I remember seeing the old "powdered iron filings on the paper with the magnet underneath" to show the swirling magnetic eddy currents. That ancient recall makes me wonder now if having three of four neodymium powerful magnets attached inside the container filled with the nickel acetate electrolyte might improve their contact with that damned hold-down claw while in solution, Here is a link to that post and to the photos/videos from my original experiment:

        I was thinking about this and had an idea.

        What if you had two steel plates of equal size and placed them above and below the entire process of electroplating. Place a magnet on each plate (opposite of the process side) to magnetize each plate. Make each plate opposite polarity. If the plates are evenly spaced then it should create a linear magnetic field.

        I'm not sure if it would make a difference but you mentioned needing to align ions. I believe this would do just that, depending on the effectiveness of the magnets.

        Also, could use electromagnets and create an alternative field causing the ions to spin up. Maybe a gyroscopic principle would even out the plating? It may prevent an unintentional magnetizing of the item being plated. Thinking if Ions are aligned while plating, they may produce a persistent magnetic field.

        I never done electroplating before so this is just a logical theory.

        edit: Or experiment with higher voltages or higher frequency AC currents. I noticed you mentioned flipping the item part way through. Alternating the current may alleviate that, or even provide a more even finish?
