Wheel coffee tables.

I've had these done for a while but didn't know if I shared them here.

White one is a 18" Eagle 077 powdercoated white. Red one is a factory 1st gen GP 16" X-lace powdercoated red. I am a Pontiac and Husker fan.

I used second gen GP front hubs (bad from Ed Morad) and bolted some legs to them that I had bend where I work and I drilled the holes to mount them myself. Glass was cut locally at $25 a piece and the vinyl covers for the center caps made by a friend of mine for free.

You can see it wasn't very expensive for me, but these can be done for under $100 if you want some nice decor.....or if you can talk the wife/gf in to letting have one in the house.

Nice! I'll have to make a few of these..I'd like a new nightstand, and if you ever need to child proof it just put some rubber on it lol.

I see 8 cylinders...unless there are only 2 on the other side. Pretty cool though, for a 90 degree.

I was going to use an old 3.4 block that I have stripped down, but ran out of time before I went to basic. It's a rust block now. Plus these damn 60* are heavy. I need to find an old LS1 block.

There not that heavy... I think shipping weight of my 3400 was only like 300-350lbs? Strip all the components down and the block is not that bad.

Still is heavy for a table... lol

I still plan on using my 96's original engine for a coffee table when I get the time to strip it down. Right now its still 100% complete, and I have another 3400 waiting to take its spot so its gotta come apart soon.

I still have the reverse shell and 4th gear cluth hub/shaft from my trans rebuild project. I need to make a lamp out of them.....
