Hi all! I'm Andrew, v6 guy at heart. Was toolin garound looking for dohc info and I found this site, decided to drop in and say hi.
I'm from Canada, own a 94 Camaro (v6 car) with no driveline or engine left. Tore the original 3.4L out and gave it to a friend, was going ot put my 355 + super t10 4 speed in it until last weekend, now I'm selling said engine and using a 3.4L DOHC instead + t3 turbo (might go t3/t4 if I get ambitious). Getting the complete engine and harness from the local 'yard for 150$ + whatever other parts I may need. Almost had the 355 installed 2 weeks ago or so, but I've never liked small blocks, so its being sold for a super low price (big hit to my wallet) and I'll be mating the v6 to a T5 bell and my current super T10. The rear end is a swapped in 8.5" 10 bolt froma '77 Firebird with 2.73's (being changed asap, 3.23's most likely), factory Eaton posi and a dropped 4 link. Needless to say my driveline is tough.
Shooting for 300hp or so from the 6, I don't really need much more. Looking forward to mating the dohc ngine management with the stock ecu from the Camaro, so if anyone knows what I should do or can lend some experience I'll be very grateful.
Well, hello everyone, looking forward to being here.
