If you have both there to look at, then look and compare. There probably isn't anyone on here that knows anything about the 3.8L mounts due to the fact that it is a 90º V6 engine and this is a 60º V6 site. Sorry...-Brad-

Truth be told there is only 2 swaps to consider if you have an S-10 with a 2.8L
1) You put in a 3.4L (Crate or F-Body donor) because it is literally a bolt in swap. Cheep and easy for a beginer or someone looking for a fresh new motor with some descent pop.
2) You do a V8 swap because it would be the same or maybe even less work than trying to make a 3.8L work in an S-10. You will get much more support if you did a V8 swap and parts are even specifically produced for V8 engines in S-10's.
A 3.4L would be a MUCH easier swap than a 3.8L (it is truly a bolt in) and it has all the same power potential. A V8 swap is harder (but I think easier than a 3.8L) and the power potential is... well.... Everyone knows how limitless a V8 swap would be.1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma
