Tired of buying expensive keys? This works! Camaro decided to not turn over...no fuel delivery...Security light lit. I googled and came up with a part of a thread from W Body.

2 bux worth of parts, 10 minutes of time, new key made at Lowes for $1.99! Yeah Buddy!

Although the author states that he did not know if it works on F Body cars...Yes it does....

Hope this is not a repost...

that will work perfectly fine with any PASSKEY I or PASSKEY II setup as long as the module itself is working correctly. if the module dies, then you'll need to make the signal generator mentioned near the bottom of the page, 30Hz for PKI/VATS, 50Hz for PKII.

Correct. All DIY...My module was fine so far. The usual culprit is the tumbler assy., (expensive!), probably because of wear. Either way, if you want a cheap key, even if all is well with the system, this is the way to go. Mine failed, and I was forced, with good info.
Security with my car is me.
