It's used to keep the scope they insert into you during minimally invasive surgery from fogging. My wife graduates from RN school in 6 weeks That one, however, with an ultraviolet light is probably used for looking for ultraviolet dyes, like what we would use to find leaks in our a/c system.-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

What you are looking at is a six foot model, made out of Acrylic, Plexiglass, and lots of pretty LED lights. We made it for a Medical Convention in Vegas. Kinda looks like a disco stripper pole.....
