We had an "upgrade" period on the submarine that lasted for like 3 months, and anything metal from the engine room that we could fit out the hatch was sand-blasted and powdercoated. It was insane the amount of stuff that we had done. And it held up very well to the salt-water and abuse put through it while we operated and ran drills, etc...

The subframe in the 91 only got hit with some truck bed liner, lol. As far as I know it has done fine.

I actually bought a quart of that stuff, and was gonna use it. I pressure washed the subframe hoping it would do a better job cleaning than it did... but it wouldnt remove rust. Rather than me sandblast it and get sand all over my backyard, I took it to this place and was gonna just have them sandblast it.

The guy did a good job of just talking me into getting it coated at the same time, I "really" wanted it done that way originally but figured I could get away with the bedliner stuff.

Damn, you must live under your car cause usually im only under there to change the oil! I dont have a wife or a desk job that I need to look good for though so yeah, like I care about some oil and dirt. I have maybe 2 shirts that dont have oil or grease stains on them now:P

You know what im gonna do if I get oil or grease on mine? Im gonna spread it around to protect the subframe...cause thats what it does, it protects the subframe. That is its job.
Yeah, when we took my subframe out, it had some spots were it was caked with grease and oil and in the spots were it was caked it was still nice and shiny underneath.

*EDIT*- What kind of camera do you have cuz those are some damn nice pics and I'm in the market for one.

                  Its a Fuji Finepix S5000.. 10x optical zoom, 3.1megapixel

it was either get this one or get the Canon S1

Overall it was a good purchase, you wont get any better picture quality until you get up into the $1k range, most of these under $500 camera's have about the same quality.

Looks like a good ol' 35 mm, lol. Nice looking camera, though. Here is the one I ended up getting when I got one:

IN-DEPTH review of the Olympus D-550 digital camera, with actual sample images, and a detailed data sheet.

I don't need the 10x zoom cause I don't go taking pics of teen girls out on the beach sunbathing, lol.

This might be my next camera body purchase:

Tho I'd not mind an MZ-S and the 3 "limited" lenses.
'course, that's about $3,000 worth of camera setup.
