I decided not to use the subframe I had blasted and prepped...cause its bent. Go figure eh. Wish I had time to have mine powdercoated like yours but its not happening. Oh well, i dont think thats a big HP mod:P

very sharp! Something like that might happen to the STE when the new motor goes in......car's got rust all over (its from up north). $100 aint bad either.

Now why would you keep a grasshopper on a list of a major project? lol. That grasshopper rules, lol. At least he knows to pick our cars over riceboy cars.

I was considering under coating my whole cradle/suframe and engine bay. Advisable? The powder coating looks real nice though.

I wish i would have done that to mine, but I didn't pull it out when I did my mtoro swap. Instead, I just used a anti-rust and primer on it, and it is already flaking. Oh well.

Very bling! Even the grasshopper thinks so.

Wet spray can't even touch a good powder coat! We get the majority of our metal parts here at work powder coated and have had great luck with it. Then again, these are for industrial diesel engines that are sitting outside all the time or floating on barges somewhere. Still, if it holds up to that, I'm pretty much hooked for the parts for my car that sees salt and other misc. road crap!

That is exactly why I had it done, I don't ever want to have to worry about rust or corrosion, and if I get some crazy buildup of dirt/grease/oil on there, I can just hose it off or wipe it off with a rag.

Or I can get the grasshopper to clean it for me.. we worked out a deal.

You know what im gonna do if I get oil or grease on mine? Im gonna spread it around to protect the subframe...cause thats what it does, it protects the subframe. That is its job.
