A few days ago... I was very intently gritting my teeth while doing a a heavy lift and somehow managed to crack my upper right front tooth from the edge to the gum line leaving me with an Effing Diastama that would rival the one in Michael Strahan's maw. Long story short... the Dentist and his great staff took me in on emergency notice and in less than an hour...they rebuilt that tooth to look and function good as new...allowing me that chance to still be able to say that I still have all of my own teeth...and a few friends in town. While they were working hard on my Kisser... I overheard the Lead Dental Tech mention that her young son has shown a great deal of interest in mechanical things and in particular ...Airplanes... so I vowed to get her boy a few of those gigantic pictorial "Jane's Military Planes of the World" style books to feed his enthusiasm and nurture the interest of a budding mechanic.

While at Boarders... I spied an unusual automotive book that might be of great interest to anyone here who is always in need of one kind of Math Formula or another for automotive concerns in a book called "The Auto Math Handbook" by John Lawlor from HP Press. I could not believe what was inside the pages of this thing! Every imaginable formulae you can think of ...from HP to Tires...From Drag Racing Shift Points to 16 pages of useful formulas and their correct conversions. I paid around $21.00 for this thing...but I found it on eBay here for a little less money. If you use any kind of mathematics in your engine work and/or racing calculations... this 1991 tome might be very useful to you...especially if you can program in MS Basic or Visual Basic to make these even more useful and handy. Enjoy!

This is my least favorite book. Numbers give me a headache after a while. When I don't know what they mean, its instant.
