I posted this, then deleted it and thought about it some more. I would like to know if there is a decent way to raise my 94 Cutlass Supreme about 3". Taller tires are not an option. There is a means to my madness!

What I'm looking for is just a little more ground clearance. And possibly a little better weight transfer. And since I'm not drafting at Daytona, aerodynamics isn't an issue. But! I have an alterior motive! HeeHee! (Weebils just kill me!)

How about Held Motorsports front and rear adjustable coilovers. That would be the best bet. I believe you get 3 inches in each direction with those. He said they are done, he's just testing.
No joke... new struts (KYB GR2s) raised the rear of my car about 2"
They did not alter ride height in the front though. I imagine different trim levels and years of W bodies had different front springs. Maybe there is a factory replacement option that offers greater ride height, same applies for the rear monoleaf.

i use to go muddin in my 91 4 door cutlass..... i rased the back alittle by lifting the car off of the ground and cutting a pice of 2X4 about s or so inches long not really sure on the exact length.. it has been a while... any way put the block under the rear momo leef in the middle between the spring and the center lift point.. bassicallt in the center lift point.... cut it to fit the exact space between the leef and the lift point...... it will lift a inch or to.... probably not the best thing for the spring but does work

Ok, let me get this straight, you have a W-body with a rear monoleaf suspension. You replaced the rear struts (shock absorbers), and it raised the car? Shock absorbers only dampen the oscillation of the springs, they have nothing to do with ride height. Unless your old struts we so fucked, they were seized in the down position. Then your suspension would have been "held" down by the struts. Therfore any old brand of struts would have had the same effect.
That would really stress a monoleaf. Ass end is easy. Get rid of the mono and go coil overs. I want front end lift to equal what I can already do to the back. I thought about lowering the towers. Lots of cutting and welding. Not sure about alignment yet. We are almost ready to get to the Madness! Has to be an easier way.

i just thought of a possibable way to rase the front..... probably a bad idea.. i mean i am drunk right now but ....... on the front is it possibable to make a spacer to put between the top of the strut and the strut tower.......
