I saw this on a Public Broadcasting Documentary and nearly fell out of my chair because I've seen the safari caravan scenario so many times without a surprise to this extent on wildlife shows. Had to look it up on youtube for others to see, they were tracking the cat to tranquilize it and accidently provoked an attack;

Awesome, I used to have a Borzhoi (Russian Wolfhound) that could clear a six foot fence without even touching it..

There is a video of a lioness leaping and taking out a giraffe. Poorly shot but for a home video,
it's not too bad. I'm not sure how big the giraffe was, but it's still impressive.


Cats in general are impressive. Their agility is second to none.
