    oh well.

my timing belt snapped a few hours ago at 6000RPM. engine is facked. piston to valve contact. no signs of hair or any other reason to believe my 6,000 mile new timing belt would let go other than it was from autozone.

    no more turbo dohc project.

need to pull the heads and decide what im gonna do but probably go 3400

Hopefully you can just fix it. Kinda odd that it snapped after 6k miles though, so let me know if it turns out to be something in there failed.

dave, the intake cams wont turn over, valves gotta be bent. either way i wont DQ the dohc till i pull it and pull a head but i'm not expecting it to be pretty. even after i send ben the pair of heads i'm supposed to send him, i have another spare set.

someone find me a 5 speed setup!

lyle, my car was originally a 3.1 mpfi... i dont mind pushrods as long as its not a 3800
