At least I got a few people. Unlike the Jon's, not everyone knows Ben's address. And I obviously should have made more of the links work (some of them actually do, btw...). But, if you research any of the names listed, they are all accurate.

Besides the author's name, there were a couple other giveaways... Ben's address of 107, as well as the article number (20100401-107) all relate to his screen name (sappyse107). Ironically, it also cost me $1.07 to buy the domain.

We obviously couldn't do the rockers again this year, although it was hilarious last year. Time to start planning again...

At least no one was hurt. The news could have been about a loss of life. In a way, this bad news is actually blessed.

Man, best of luck with the recovery and rebuild!

To make a positive from a negative situation think....out with the old and in with the new.

I wonder if this is an April Fools?

I know the Ford ad worked. I also know Ben has a double stall garage door, and I saw no remains of a white MGB. I was also like "IN Local News? I've never heard of that paper." Also Ben's neighbor didn't hear the explosion over all of his yippy dogs barking.

Ben wouldn't let me kill anyone off for the day. He can say it is all me, but he proofed it and made some changes to the story. Sadly, its something I came up with while taking a shower back in January. The picture is just one of the better pictures that came up with a Google search for "garage fire". Having all the tool boxes and whatnot in the picture was just a bonus.
