  • Please excuse my absence

What is up guys? I know I haven't been around munch since the 60V6 Meet last year. There have been a few good reasons for that. The first being that after the meet I sold my Grand Prix to Ben. He has been taking good care of it and I have just had my truck. So I no longer own any 60 V6s and the future is uncertain as to whether I ever will again.

But I'm back now for a couple reasons. The big one being that the 2010 60V6 meet needs to be planned. I am happy to spearhead the organization of that once again. Whether or not I will be able to attend is up in the air just because I work a weekend shift and getting time off is very hard, but I will try my best. The second reason is to show you what is now occupying my time and what, if I can attend the meet, I'l be bringing:

I know it's not a 60V6, but hopefully you guys can accept it for what it is. I am really looking forward to some sweet roads trips in it this summer. Hopefully one of those trips leads me to this year's meet, but we'll see. Anyway, I'll be around. Please keep up on the meet planning. Input is always needed and welcome.

I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

Glad you made it back You should come to the meet so we can drink more single barrel! haha!

We def need to get the meet figured out. I haven't checked the track schedule for beech bend. V6Z24 bash is july 16-18 so that is no good for us. Probably august again? Guess we need a thread for all that.

Nice car btw Hows the tune looking on it? Ive been VE tuning the GP a bit and have learned not to use the smoothing feature any more in HPT. Jagged is where its at.

Haven't actually tuned it yet. I found out since I got back it needs brakes all around, and I need to take the driver's seat out and lube everything to stop an annoying squeak. I also need to get my hands on a tuning laptop, but for now it'll probably just sit in the garage looking all sexy. I've got a few weeks more of crummy weather to wait out before I can start driving it daily.

As for the meet, August would be very tough for me because I have the Pontiac Nationals August 6,7 and 8th, and then I also have the first ever G8 meet that Joe is organizing August 19-22. I"ll make anew post for the meet and lock the old one. It seems to have gotten a bit off topic anyway.

Getting off is hard? ED maybe?
