  • Holiday! (Memorial Day) Default from the norm......

Anyone got any cool plans for the weekend? I do, but I want to hear others first!

A friends wedding is tomorrow... then I'm going to a LAN party on Sunday, I hope... Monday I'm going biking, and Tuesday I'm moving.

I should be heading out to the lake on Saturday (unless the weatherman is right and it rains all day). Then I get to work all day (9-7) on Sun and Mon.

To The Lake! My 12 year old just passed the water saftey course and for the first time can leagally operate a watercraft by himself with no one else on board. Now I can relax on the beach and watch him wear himself out on the Sea Doo!

Water safety course? I've never heard of such a thing being required to operate a boat or watercraft.

You live in Illinois you will know about it. Its like waiting till your 16 for a drivers license. Only you wait till 12 so you can operate a boat or PWC alone. Hell I took the course with him(as did my wife and daughter) and learned several things I didnt know after 35 years on the water.

Takin' the family on an all day outing. Picnic on the grounds. This is a cool place! http://www.wpafb.af.mil/museum/ If you've never been there, it's worth the drive!
