Nascar video taken of a valve spring @7k rpms with a .700 lift cam. Video taken with a very high speed camera (turn down your volume on this one- you have been warned!)
Another vid showing high RPM valve float. (keep volume down and don't watch if you are subject to epileptic seizures- high speed strobe lights were used to catch this one in real time and makes me think it was the same way on the last one...)
Some guys took the head off a 4 cylinder, strapped a camera in the engine bay and dumped the clutch after towing the car to 30 and 40mph (engine seized at 40mph).
