  • Any Insanity or P90Xer's or here?

Just thought I'd ask if there were anyone doing the "P90X" or "Insanity". If so, how are you doing in either? I'm going through the P90 and love it, but have thought about getting the Insanity to do in the mornings before work.

    Anyone?

No, but I do make my job a work out, it's all a frame of mind.

Instead of just carrying something, do some over head presses with it and make your typical job a work out, instead of me paying for a plan I will stick with old school redneck theory. Work hard, money will follow, work harder, so will your body

Long time no talk, John. How ya been doing?

I can agree with that, but unfortunately my job is repetitive and boring, but I do lift quite a bit all day long, just not how I need to to get the results I'm after.

Watch what you eat too. Eating out is killer, even if you don't think what you are eating is much.

I found out chill's honey chipotle chicken crispers I like are 2000 calories and 110 grams of fat!!! I mean I figured it wasn't too great, but DAMN!!! Having a big beer with it just adds even more... damnit...

I've been busy with jobs after work so I haven't been going to the gym now for almost 2 years. It pisses me off cause I want to lift but then when I do get done it's late and I've had no sleep so I don't go. Now work has changed things around and I'm stuck at my desk most of the day. At least it's a 10-15min walk from the parking lot to the building.... lol

I just bought this pre-workout stuff called BUZZERK from the M.A.S.S. project, and let me tell you, -that shit is insane, I work out twice as long, twice as hard, and don't even get sore. I kept ~200BPM for about 15 mins while hill climbing and did not even get tired. ...although I could have sworn that my heart was about to pop out of my chest lol.
Look for it and try it!

My wife did P90X for awhile, but then she got sick a few months back, didn't feel well for a week or so, and just got out of the routine. She still goes to the gym during the week, though. Also have a friend that does Insanity. Me, I just sit around and do nothing and maintain the same weight that I was in high school 20 yrs ago.

I actually went through it once and lost 24lbs in 10 1/2 weeks and I didn't follow his meal plan. I injured my knee and layed off of it for some time now and just getting back into it recently. The wife is suposed to start back too.

I guess I won't be gettin' those chicken crispers.

I haven't heard of this one. I'll have to check it out. I introduced my sister and brother-in-law to the P90X, so now I have some competion. He likes to brag on how much weight he's dropped.
