I dont like additives. Pocket-rocket used the trans stuff and his trans died pretty soon afterwards. No clue if its related to the lucas crap but its not a good sign either way.

are these really additives? They look like actual product in most cases except where it says its an addative, like the Power Steering stuff (which works great, lemme tell ya.)

I've seen the in-store setup of the oil stabilizer or whatever it's called. It really does help keep the oil on the parts longer, but I have no idea if it would help in reality.

I use the oil additive and the trans additive. As for the oil, I dont' have an oppinion yet. It does build better oil pressure. I used the Transmission additive in my 1962 Buick after I changed the fluid that had been sitting in it for 17 years, and it was kinda sluggish.... you couldn't even feel it engage in a gear and it would take effort to move it in and out of the garage. Add in one bottle of Trans-Fix..... problem solved. Has since driven 6,xxx miles on it since 1999 in that state, never had one problem with it.

I like Lucas. Used their tranny stuff before which helped with leaky tranny pan gasket (as best it could, until I changed it.. duh) and I recently put in the power steering stuff (whole bottle) and it made the steering MUCH more quiet.

I put the lucas in my tranny and noticed no difference, shifts feel exactly the same.

I first tried the PS fluid because they had the nerve to put this on the side of the bottle:

                  "results will be immediate"
