  • Sandbags, schmandbags...

Here is how we do winter weight in a light pickup in Indiana! :P

And the best part is when I don't need it any more it melts and runs out the back, no breaking my back to pull sand bags out

The sad part is 99.5% of that will still be in the back of the truck when I go out to the garage tomorrow... Uninsulated walls suck. Oh yeah, Lake Michigan can keep its lake effect snow too, but at least it's not as much as the plains have gotten and we still have plow trucks on the road (just not on my road...) Since I had the heater on in the garage for a short time earlier today I'm hoping that at least some of the heat that was left in it will help put a layer of ice on top of that to help hold the snow in instead of it flying out while I go down the road. I would go spray some water on top to help form the layer of ice, but I'm not sure if I need that much snow in there yet and might opt to remove some if it's too much for me to drift at least a little. I have to have some form of entertainment in my sad little life.... Now to go play some GT4

That looks like an awesome idea for a tailgating cooler.

As long as you could remember where you put everything unless you left the holes open, lol. I went to the store the other day and the frozen pizzas and pop got put back there. Can you guess why?

Sounds like the same reason my friend's grandmother decided to leave the Christmas ham sitting on top of the outside fridge ROFL

My "garage" fridge died and now I have to put my beer on ice. Such a shame, you guys get a free fridge

                    :P

Alan, what are you squabbling about? It can't be THAT cold there, maybe in the 30's?

It was finally in the upper 40's to the mid 60's here all day today - perfect working in shorts and a t-shirt in the shop! Hate the summer when it's 95* and 90% humid though

30's my foot. Didn't see a degree under 45 while the sun was up

I love this weather, cool and dry and I can wear my hoodie that makes me look like a traffic cone.
