i thought they already did something like this.

i remember hearing before about a recall on toyota trucks and rust. unfortunately my memory fails and i cant remember when.

thats pretty funny that between 6-9yrs they are already rotting out, even with living in the states that love to use salt on the road.

guess i should be happy the only rust on my 15yr old subaru is becuase of a bad paint fix from the previous owner. its only a couple in section on both sides of the wheel well where the bumper meets the car.

What about Canadians? We get snow in every province every year.

Hell My S-10 is a 93 and my Trooper is a 90 and neither have rust on them and my city uses salt every year.

Toyata is just as shitty as any other car on the road. But Toyata owners feel so proud they will never admit to problems. Ask a 22R owner how many head gaskets they have done. If they say none they are lying to your face, so punch them.

Add this one to the other current recall, in which the gas pedal can get stuck to the floor mat....

My coworker has a toyota camry that's not even a year old and she had it recalled a few months ago over potential brake failures.

Bah! Im second owner of my Yota'. Heads been off once for a hybrid build. 22R 1982 Pickup. 135K.

Oh and these trucks (all of em since forever) have had frame rusting issues. Thats what happens when you have a box steel frame I guess...

The recent car recalls are for floor mats that arent secured. They get scrunched up under the pedals.
