i put head gasket set on a 3.1 in 96 grand prix now i have a promblem it misefires on #2-4-6-5 can ne one help me i got short push rods on intake.

How do you have a 3.1 in a 96 gp? You should have a 3100 SFI unless someone did a swap.

it occarrs from start up. plugs n wires r correct.push rods r correct.i think i might just scrap this car.Comment

Thats the whole front bank and then some...Check the igintion module wiring. Pull the plugs and see if there wet with coolant, try replacing them and seeing if that works. Did you torque the heads properly and in the correct tightening sequence? Head gaskets are a big job so just make sure all your wiring is in order, try checking the fuel injector harness and connectors at the injectors. Off the top of my head I can only think of the head gaskets being mis aligned maybe (did your engine have the head dowels?) and wrong push rod placement.
