What should i do with this car?

A older lady i work w/at verizon has a 1996 GP white with leather moon roof 3100/4t60e in NICE SHAPE. She resently blew the head gasket. The vehicle has over 150k on it. So i bought the car off her for 400$. Also paid for the rediculous tow bill from south philly. The engine is fried. Water complete filled 2 cylinders. So...what would be the easiest way to go to make this car fast?

Should i put 3.4 DOHC in the car?
Or do 3400 Swap?


Which would be cheaper also?
