  • Blinker No Blinkey

Right blinker works fine, left blinker usually works aside from the fact that usually I have to pull back on the stalk a bit (like I am going to turn on my brights) to get the blinker to actually come on. Yay for w-body issues!

However today the left blinker just comes ON but doesn't flash. All bulbs are working. Are there separate flasher modules under the dash for left and right? I am thinking if so, the left one went out.

    Thanks.

That sounds like what happened to my 93 Z34. It was the switch assembly under the steering wheel. I was able to wrap a BIG rubber band from the stalk all the way around the steering column back to the stalk. It held it in just the right position. That worked until I could get a switch. As I remember a switch from the dealer (I get parts at cost) it was around $110. Not too bad to install.
    Hope this helps,,,
    Tom...
Not 100% sure,,, I don't think there are 2 flasher units for turn sigs. 1 for 4-way flashers and 1 for turn.... Could be wrong tho....

My left turn does not shut off, so I have to lift up the stalk to turn it off.... Had to do that since 2003, used to it... LOL. Right still cams off.. When driving other cars I don't turn off the left, weird that's the only habit that doesn't follow me in other cars. When I stopped driving a 5 speed I was clutching EVERY car for a while, even if there was no pedal there... hahaha And driving my friends Impala that has console shift, I always reach for the column as my other friends Impala has that and another friends truck/lumina/etc... lol

If you can find them for $30,, GREAT!! All the places I look are over $100. Here's what Advance wants:

                  That part is for a 93 W-Body (Z34)...
They want $123.79. Can't believe Auto-Zone is THAT much cheaper!!!
                  Tom...
EDIT: Actually Autozone lists a Duralast and that is $68.99:
