There is a local guy with a GM 502/powerglide in a Fox Mustang.

Drives it everywhere and some how kept the A/C.

          Runs 11.60's

A 60* also sounds pretty neat!!

Brad will run 6s with his 60V6s. Just need to put one in the trunk as well.

Yeah, I was having some issues last night, and we have company this weekend. So anywhere, here we go...

Here it is, finally in the garage

Definitely an 8.8 inch rear end. Been reading with just a few modifications, this can be stronger than a Chevy 12-bolt

Perfect cowl hood for a custom plenum

This picture really doesn't do the paint job justice, but itsk of a lot better than I originally thought!

Adjustable coil-overs on the front end

Another view of the front suspension

Plenty of room for a radiator and air-to-air intercooler. Or will I go water-to-air? Hmm...

                  4L60E will fit nicely here

Plenty of space for just about... anything!

                  Saleen?

                    Nice!

Man, 502 Mustang only pulled 11's? We put a 355sbc and th400 in an 86 notchie (full interior), Dart heads, tunnel ram and it did 11.8 all motor and 10.3 with a 100 shot - stock v6 rear (cant remember if it was the 7.5 or 8 ). I moved here to south Florida when the car owner was ready to add another 100 shot and 8.8".

I wouldnt worry too much on the 8.8" Im buildin one for my truck.

Apperently when you put down some good power, the axles are the first to go. Moser makes some nice replacements.

4 lug or 5? Im just wonderin...

They are 4-lug. I may replace them eventually, but the wheels are pretty nice, so not sure I want to spend money on going to 5-lug. And yeah, I read the same thing about the axles. I read going from the 28-spline (?) to 31-spline helps out a lot.

The 8.8s get overshadowed by the 9 but they are still a pretty strong rearend.
