F Body Wiper Blades! 94 Camaro

I have a cunfuzing problem. Buying wiper blades for my Camaro, seems to be a lesson in futility. Auto Zone: Book look up in Bosch. No Fit. Advance Auto: Computer lookup: Trico Exact Fit-24" blades? Too long.......Hit fender trying to park.

Been on Camaro Forum. No one seems to have a reality based solution. Did Chevy do this just for me? Can't you just get simple blades for a car? Now I know, I am not the only one.

I just want wiper blades.............so I can see you.

I personally have never looked up wiper blades. Being a carpenter with a measuring tape handy, I have always measured whats on the vehicle and bought either a direct replacement of that size or slightly bigger depending on how much room there was throughout the wipers range.

just take one off and head in to your local auto parts store... maybe take both off, and mark them left and right. drivers/passengers. port/starboard... whatever you like.

The shape of the windshield will not allow you to just buy any wiper blades, if you just buy a universal set of 24" blades you will be leaving half of your windshield "unwiped" (if you will). I had the same dilemma also when I bought my first set of blades for my Camaro "way back when". I wish I knew the blade part number that I have on my car now so I could help you out......which this thread reminds me, its time for me to get some blades also.

Another similar problem with the camaro is the dang headlights. Why are the little halogen rectangular bulbs more expensive than the big gaudy 80s style hippie van bulbs? I paid $35 per bulb for the low beams and I think the high beams are more expensive. Sheesh...only a camaro

24" does not work so well. Hits the fender, and will not park. I found these after hitting 5 part stores, and a very knowlegable old man. He didn't use the Computer, or a book. Hands on guy!
