just out of curiosity what all is needed to flow heads/how do you go about doing so (whats the procedure) & is there anyway someone could flow some heads off of a couple of the more common GM engines or otherwise & maybe make a sticky or article with a cross section comparing the flow of the different heads at different lifts?
if not id be happy to track down some flow numbers on other heads & compile it myself. it just seems like itd be nice for someone to be able to get on & just click a thread or article showing a comparison of intake & head flows among the likes of the different 60* engines & others such as those l67 boat anchors, 4.3 (vortec & non vortec), 4.0 jeep (HO or LO), & maybe a 350/quad 4.
does this sound like an interesting idea to anyone else? if anything i can see what i can track down & maybe come up with a chart or something kickass.
i got this idea when comparing 3.1 headflow to that of a l67 & saw that the intake flows about the same & the exhaust isnt far off-& thats not even with the 3x00's!
