my 91 regal had factory keyless, though would never work, due to shitty soldiering in the control module itself. though you couldnt remove it and throw it out, or your power locks would only work on the side you use them. lol so i installed aftermarket alarm and starter with keyless and a couple other options. was easier than fixing that piece of shit constantly.

what do you need pics of? just the rail thinggies inside the cover in the doors of a W coup? i could go pop mine off and snap a pic. they work just fine n dandy

Yeah its the rails under the security cover. Both that attach to the lock and attaches to the handle. For some reason mine cross and I am not sure if they are supposed to be that way or not. In my Chilton's its a very small diagram that I can hardly see and its on the passenger side. I was thinking of doing a keyless entry system but I'm kinda strapped on cash right now. Would like to lock my doors without being locked out completely LOL

woohoo thanks! Unfortunately, it looks nothing like that cause the door lock arms and the handle arm are on the wrong side! I don't even think the power door lock pigtail is plugged in there also LOL More work! But hey thanks for the great pics! I used zoom and got an up close look at it!

Nah my passenger side is fine, has never been touched and still has the stock handle so I'm still good. I do have one question though, if I took my car to the GM dealer would they know if I had keyless entry built into the car or not? Like scan for the keyless entry box or something?

just look for an extra black single wire connector by your antenna in the trunk, if the connector is there you have it. im not sure where the module sits on your car, but in my buick it was under the speaker shelf in the back window.

the connector by the antenna when grounded tells the keyless to go into programming mode and unlocks and locks the doors (or the other way arround) either way, if its there you got it. and programming remotes is easy as hell
