  • Cutty Convertible buckets.....

I just got all the seats out of a wrecked 94 Cutlass Convertible at the junkyard. Problem is the Power drivers seat. The seats bolt in to my 92 Z-34 just fine, but there is no wiring for the seat motors. I dug around under the carpet as much as I could but came up empty. The chiltons manual is no help, no diagrams containing the power seat wiring. The cutty seats have 1 orange wire and 2 black wires that join into 1 right before the plug. I'd think the orange is power, but 2 grounds? WTF> Anybody know how to wire this beast?
If it\'s fun, it\'s probably illegal and if it\'s illegal I\'m probably doing it.

Ground the grounds to a bolt under the seat. There is a ground there already. For power, just pull back the plastic shrouding by the door. Look for a large PINK wire. That's the power for the windows. Tap it and you're set.

Cool, Thanks! Just so I know, the orange wire on the seat is power and the two black wires are ground?
