Yeah fuck, for you US guys that's $3.33/ gallon for 87 octane, and $3.71 for 91. You know I can see the upgrader from my balcony, you think that would bring gas prices down a little. Why can't I fill up there, save them the shipping cost. Fuckers

Do you think that the gas companies in the US are going to start to change over to metric?? I have to think that if everyone keeps complaingin about the prices, the gas companies will change it over to make it look like the prices are going down. When I lived in Florida there were tons of people that thought that there were only 2 liters in a gallon. They didn't realize that a liter is roughly equal to a quart. If they change it over, I doubt most people would realize how much they are paying, because many are too dumb to be able to do the conversion.
I wouldn't put it past them.
Oh yeah, and it is 1.99/2.09/2.19 here in Maine..
Can find it as low as 1.85 for reg (in my small town) but the local places aren't making much on it, they try to do the right thing because they live in town and everyone tries to treat everyone decently around here. I was thrown for a loop when I went to Orlando and had to put down a deposit for gas before I pumped it! I thought that was sad.
Plan and simple truth to the fact that Canadian and European prices being so high: DEMAND
Most countries don't even use half the crude oil that we do. It's like buying anything else, Who's going to pay more per unit? The guy buying one or the guy buying in bulk.
Gas is expensive in the praries and western Canada because three major refineries are down or are going down for shutdown. Petro Canada still isn't up and running from their shutdown (working on that one - what a mess...), Esso is just shutting down this week, and Shell is set to go down in a few weeks (so they're stockpiling, not shipping).
Bleh. Like all three going down at around the same time isn't planned,....

Yeah, paid 96.4/l for 91 today, FUCKER!!! Oh, converted to USG and USD that's $2.61/gallon for you US guys. My last post wasn't converted to USD .
Oh, I just bought a bike (pedal) last week, I guess it's a sign that I should start riding that bitch to work. At this rate it won't take long to pay it off.
Conversion to Euro's.. $5.75/gal in London. $8.45/gal in Rome. $2.15/gal in Ohio. And it all went up last Thursday, when it was announced the "not buy gas thing"! Jeez, that worked! Stayin' home again tonight and BBQ! Get this! 16 gal keg of beer is cheaper than gas!!!!
If you are driving a Chevy, everything else, is just a blur. 3.4 Carbon Footprint.
