my wife has the same issue, how weird is that?

she actually changed to her third college today...

which brings up the question: is no_doz a woman?

      nope, sorry to disappoint.

also whats the fit you're having about the S7? its been my dream car since i first laid eyes on it, does this bother you? i didnt say i was going to do anything regarding it, so i dont see the shocker here?

i change my mind based upon the situation available to me, and that situation does indeed fluctuate depending on what becomes available in my general area.

if that makes me a woman then where are my tits so i can atleast be entertained whilst i be ridiculed!! :P

        ^i like the S7..... a lot.

the fact that when you hit, i think, 150MPH it has enough downforce to allow you to drive upside down..... droolworthy...

EDIT: according to wikipedia, its 160MPH.

i know, the body & suspension is fantastic, it just saddened me so much when i found out its a ford big block powering it and that the body is all carbon fiber.

the carbon fiber thing is great for weight but as far as im concerned to me it might as well be fiberglass, so if you ever hit anything with mild force you're looking at a trashed car that ill bet you cant get body panels for.

its basically gorgeous ford kit car with twin turbos slapped on a 427, that they want $600,000.00 USD for, come on-thats RIDICULOUS!

it just makes me wish there was a company making kit car bodies that match it, to where i could stuff my own motor & trans in it & cut ford & their $.6M pricetag out of the equation. alas, this has not happened as far as i know.

thats pretty kickass & would make a good model to base a S7 kit car off of-now if someone went & figured out a way to use one of those as the basis to make $5-10,000 fiberglass S7 shells, im sure they would sell like F#(%!N@ hot cakes!

that is, with some sort of payment plan etc like new cars have, because most people that would want to build one probably wont have the money for the engine/trans/etc... after a $10k pricetag, now if they were $5k...lookout!!!

wishful thinking, maybe someone here is skilled with fiberglass & wants to do something thats never been done before... a guy could only hope!

that GTM is nice but $20k for no engine or trans thats pretty steep considering v8archie sells kits that look nearly just as cool for $5k, so that extra $15k could be all your own bought & chosen engine/trans/rearend/suspension/frame/cage components.

it just seems steep considering its $20k for just aesthetics, and you have to come up with a LOT of expensive components on your own & hope to god you never damage it or else you're probably going to need another $20,000.00 shell.

i guess its still cheaper than buying a new $75,000.00 corvette :P

i iz skilld wit da bondoz...

but its a 20K car minus engine, tranny and maybe a few other things. for around 50K, you would basically have a S7... thats 1/12 of the price of a S7, not a bad deal.

not a bad deal when comparing to a OMGWTFHFS OVERPRICED ford TT kit car, which is kinda like saying charles manson is only 1/12 as bad as hitler. kinda.

for that high price tag im surprised none of the uber rich S7 owners made molds & sold shells/had their buddies sell shells for $6k, ill guarantee they would sell by the thousands, & if they were sold without engines & trans im sure they could work it out so ford can just shove it.

something tells me that making and selling the shell would infringe on intellectual property rights...... and i'm not gonna fuck with a company that sells 600K cars.

lol me either, but im sure theres someone out there... its just a matter of finding them.

also they could always just make shells & sell them piece by piece only as aftermarket body panels, thus eliminating the lawsuits since its just body panels.

if ford got their head out of their ass they could cheapen it down, make it out of fiberglass, & market them for around the same cost as a new vette, which is like 1/10 of what they cost now!

they are supposed to make a cheaper dumbed down & more cost effective version, but they still want over $100k for it & thats just absurd considering we're not talking super high tech engineering under the hood, all that went into designing the body.

shit, they could sell them with a strong v6 & im sure if it wasnt over $30k people would rush to trade in their volvo's & taurus' to purchase one of the most beautiful cars ever conceived for $26k!

i agree as well, now think, there is a modern 302 with a 305's bore, fuel injected & reversed cooled...4.3L :P

get on youtube & look up some of the camaro 302's, they rev to high heaven with carb setups from the factory, & sound mean as hell. im still not too sure why the didnt just keep the gm 302 as the staple engine rather than the 350.

i can admit, the ford 302 & their straight 6 arent bad at all, but thats 2 out of how many? also parts compatibility for ford is just horrific.

you could have 5 of the same truck, with the same engine transmission, & model, & end up with 5 different combinations of parts.

i'm sure you mixed up your 5 and 0 by accident, because the 4.3 is a 350 missing two cylinders, not a 305.

                                the chevy 3.8 is a 305 missing 2 cylinders

but enough talk about those bastard 90V6s

and i have a feeling the 302 got killed off due to CAFE/EPA standards...
