its just too bad they didnt have l99's at that time, 2 short stroke l99 lt-1's (4.3l) in a camaro or even 1 in an awd lumina would just be mean as hell-good luck keeping traction though if were talking about the twin motor maro (2400rpm peak torque ).

sorry about the double post, ive been on j-body a lot & forgot about the handy dandy edit feature.

i believe it was a 2.8 due to it being the mid 80s: no 3.1s yet...

i would like to see a twin 3900/AWD anything though, i can only imagine how that would sound/feel
1995 Monte Carlo LS 3100, 4T60E...for now, future plans include driving it until the wheels fall off!

ahh ic-i wasnt sure what year they made the camaro, i thought maybe it was 90-92, in that case they shouldve just tuned up a tech IV & put a whole frontend x-body setup in the back, like a fiero-that way you could probably get 30+mpg if you only ran the 4 cyl :P

would have been really nice, as long as it didnt have engine fire problems of the 2.5 fieros, but then again as long as your oil is topped up it shouldnt be a problem.

have you ever seen the twin engine eclipse? a badass piece of custom hot-rod engineering, but a rolling/driving cliche...
