I know there are a lot of computer savvy folks on here, so please if you could, help me out.

I have this older computer with ME on it and it has a program called quick books pro on it. What I am doing is swapping the ME tower out and putting a newer tower in that has XP home on it in it's place. What I want to know is, can I directly take the program from the ME computer and put it on the XP computer transferring all the saved data too?
Is it possible with using a memory stick (USB) ? I tried copying the program folder and putting it on the flash drive, but it doesnt have the install/setup part with it and throws an error up. I transfered the files, but the files are password locked. ?? WTF gives!!!! ??

I dont need anything else, just the program along with it's files.

    Thanks!

There are files spread out all over the system, so there really isn't a way to just move the program from one system to another. You will need to original install disk to do it.
