That is the WORST looking TB stand I have EVAR seen. The tubing is like what, 3/4", and the legs arn't even equal length. Not exactly an optimal design if you ask me. I have a book called TB_STANDS_BY_ED that goes into detail on the optimal tubing size and leg length for a properl balance TB holder with a good powerband. I'm sorry...I thought this was the header thread :P
But seriously, it looks like the mounting studs slide along the top shaft, which allows infinite adjustability for bolt spacing for any TB's. Looks good Brad. Ain't welding fun?

Put a pivot at the axis where the legs meet the arms and you have a cool, operator friendly, machining stand. Then you can adjust the level so you don't have to stand to do your work. Nice design, just needs some refinement. Just a thought. If you are driving a Chevy, everything else, is just a blur. 3.4 Carbon Footprint.

How is putting a TB on a stand gonna help you port it? I hope your not gonna try and use a die grinder? For an operation like that you need a milling machine with boring tool. Or at least a nice drill press.1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma
