to each their own... i guess. you know whats funny is when u roll up on a typical rwd guy and they look over and they kinda laugh at your car, and halfway through your race, look over and smile, throw up the peace sign, and leave them and their ego in the dust, NOTHING BETTER THAN THE LOOK ON THEIR FACE. priceless.

Yup, insurance sucks. I'd love to get a RWD V8 car, but the insurance would be stupid. I'd love to find a cheap car that is RWD to make fast, but they don't exist outside a truck... FWD motors are cool but limited on traction... and fiero's are hard to find...

There's a Fiero on CraigsList here in STL for $500! Last week there was one with 60K original miles for $1800... Fiero's are FAR from hard to find....

not a pontiac

i know i dont have a pontiac or a 3400,but i can relate to the negative feed back.
i have a 3.4 dohc in my z34 lumina,and everytime i ask someone around me for help they start cutting down either my car or the motor.
ah piece of ****,WTF you want a car like that for?,the motors were junk from day 1,do you know how f-ing hard it is to work on those motors.
they have all those flippin sensors on the f-ing motors.ect.ect.ect

for example:i bought my 2nd z34 and i couldnt get it to start.lots of battery power,but turn very slowly(not even a full revolution)so i asked a mech if he thinks my motor might be siezing up.;WHAT KIND OF MOTOR IS IT;
i told him it was a 3.4 dohc.that did it.he fricking lost his marbles.
tore a strip off of me,called it everyname in the book.it was so bad he even started drooling and slurring his words.(kinda funny,but pissed me off)

sorry to ramble on about this but with you on this one.

I've never seemed to mind working on them Now those pushrods are a funky design with the way the heads, LIM and valve cover mate up
