    http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=105113

This is why their are hardly any fast grand ams out their. Every time a topic is started in the performance section on this site some idiot has to chime in and tell the OP the 3400 is a POS and he should buy a new car.

    /end short rant...

There are lots of fairly quick GA's around.

Depending of course on your definition of "quick".

N/A 14 second cars are not hard to fine at all.

It surprises me how many ex-GA owners still visit that site. Part of the reason I never go there anymore. The comment to 'Buy a faster car instead' can only be made by someone who doesn't care about insurance premiums. The difference in insurance cost between my lowly 95 GA and a used 06 GTO I recently looked at is staggering.

Hence the reason GAGT is a worthless forum now as well...

Yup, insurance sucks. I'd love to get a RWD V8 car, but the insurance would be stupid. I'd love to find a cheap car that is RWD to make fast, but they don't exist outside a truck... FWD motors are cool but limited on traction... and fiero's are hard to find...

Somebody really should mention this 3400.

                http://60degreev6.com/forum/garage_v..._vehicle&id=44

                and it's 12.5 sec run.

This engine can be fast. People just are not creative enough to get the job done.

Its the same way on Bstuff... Idiots who get rid of their car still stick around on the board and whore it up every chance they get and try to rub in their good fortune to getting some hyped up RWD V8 car... Sorry but I still like being unique... I dont care if its not the fastest thing out there... Mine is currently faster than any other N/A Beretta... and its PINK on top of it I can't wait till I go to the strip this year and run a mid-low 13sec on the bottle they will be like WHAT was that! LOL

I totally agree. Sounds like some of the people on GOAC must be little brothers to the guys on ClubGP... you know, anything but the "engine that shall not be named" is trash and you should dump your 60v6 for it. Blind sheep suck.

As a memeber on GAOC, I chose to stay out of that thread. Yes it would be easier to build a V8 to be faster, but with large aftermarkets, and people expect it to be fast, wheres the fun?

And what happens when gas goes back over $4 a gallon? You think those gas guzzling V8 guys will be mashing the skinny pedal as much as us v6 guys who don't get hit as hard in the mpg department when it comes to performance.

Exactly... and when they look at a FWD v6 Beretta they expect it to be slow

no wonder why i never posted anything about my car on either site. not worth my time or effort.

if im posting anything about my car its gonna be on here. at least here if someone isnt interested in the car or what the thread has to offer they dont post.

GAGT.com has sucked for the last 3 or so years. its been going downhill and is in the same useles forum catagory as bstuff.com.

theres alot of people on both sites that dont even own grand am's anymore but still feel the need to post useless shit.
