Quick question guys: Over the winter I've lost the dash and door speakers in my '92 Z34. I guess I just have the volume up higher than the elderly couple that owned it before me

Anyways, I'm going to replace those bad boys. Does anyone happen to know the speaker sizes for the Bose Audio premium 6-speaker audio system for 1992? I checked out W-Body.com but I didn't find anything - and the forums were no help either. I need to start shopping around before my credit at Certified runs out,...

    Thanks guys!

This link may help, just find your car make and model. http://www.bose.com/controller;jsessionid=AFPSJ3tAv7XzwCJYsKR5LX4g95Wd 5ShsGcGsyrp2inX11FrnweGY!130508721?event=VIEW_STAT IC_PAGE_EVENT&url=/automotive/vehicles/index.jsp&pageName=/automotive/index.jsp These are merely the vehicles that came out at the factory with Bose systems. Maybe a good start to find a salvage vehicle that has what you want, or order new ones. Trying to picture an old couple in a Z...

Check out JC whitney too. Look at the with and without bose system so you can consider splicing speakers to your dash and doors. They'll tell you what fits and then go some where else or be nice and order from them since they did provide the info to you.

By the way,... What do you consider old? I'm 46. Maybe I should take a poll, I may be somebodies Daddy! I run a Sony 400 X-Plode with 2 Cerwin-Vega 6x9s and 2 Audiobahn 8" subs in the rear. 2- 5" JBL 550s in the doors, and 4 Matrix tweeters. No Amp. Won't impress anyone a block away, but sounds so cool for cruising the hiways. You can actually have a conversation in my car. Absolutely no rap crap. Rock on.....................

Are you sure you have speakers in your dash? I could of sworn that the BOSE system in the Z34 was door speakers and rear dash speakers ONLY.

Also, you can't hook up any speakers to the BOSE system. It runs at some stupid impedance. I think its 16ohm?

Those "premium" bose systems are pieces of shit anyway. We pulled the bose system out of my friends Acura Legend and put in a cheap Pioneer mosfet CD player and some cheap Coax alpine factory replacements. It sounded a hundred times better even with no amp. The bottom end was more defined, the mids were nice and smooth and the highs were nice and crispy but not tinny. Comparitively speaking, I was amazed at the difference.
