Ya, that's what has been running through my mind... If nothing is planned soon, no one will come. People need to take off of work, get their car ready, etc. SOME people, unlike Ben :P , actually have JOBS and need to coordinate trips like this.
Not for nothing this thing is usually planned like 6 months in advance. Even then we have a hard time getting people. Planning a meet in a month and expecting people to come might be a problem.

speaking of planning ive heard nothing back from anyone that i contacted. i highly doubt i make it, but in the event that i do my car will certainly not be with me
I'll be there. So even if nothing is planned, I'll find something for myself to do. So if anyone wants to just hang out with me, Ben and most likely at least Chris....
If I can get around to rebuilding my engine before then (which I probably will) I'll be there... what 2000 Miles? No problem... Either that or my dad's Safari is gonna be dragging about two tons of luggage.
We need set dates though... I'll post in my Cardomain and tell a few people I know if we get dates.

Yeah, there is no reason for me to hear 'we need time to take off" cause the dates have been set for 6 months. We know the track is there and its open racing on saturday. Mommoth cave shouldnt be that hard to reserve a tour (the long one this year). Other than thatl, i bet $100 that I dont have time for any other plans because I will be tuning a car. Hasn't failed since the first meet.
If majority are staying @ hotel, food will be at local resturaunts
If majority are staying @ campground, there will be a cookout w/ hotdogs and hamburgers
Saturday night Drags
Aug 1st
Chill out day
Some departures
More tuning w/ Ben
Mod day if anyone needs it
Food at local resturaunts or more cookout
Aug 2nd
Pack up and leave
This is the base agenda.. it has been the same every year, there is no reason to think this year will be any different. Dates have been posted since late last year and if you intended to go, should have made plans for these dates (which btw were voted/agreed upon on these very forums)
Changes to this agenda may be made during the upcoming weeks for specific events. No Registration fee of any kind (at this time) will be needed. If you come, you are to assume any financial responsibility for you and your family (if bringing them) including events, lodging and food. Cookouts will either be a pitch-in-so-Chris-can-go-buy-shit-at-the-store or someone may pitch in enough to cover it all.. either way, you will know about it beforehand.
Hey, do you guys have meeting locations in mind or something? I'm rarely around on the forums but I just finished a 3100SFI Fiero and wouldn't mind hanging out in Kentucky for a few days. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it (need to replace front lower ball joints and do rear brakes and my employer has temporarily decided not to pay me... ) but if I can it would be nice to know where to go.
