Lifting my front wheels, one jack at a time.

It makes sense considering the record profits the oil refineries made during a time when oil was suppose to be costing them so much. Funny how they never lifted a finger to lower prices during the crunch when they could afford to in an effort to help the country when it was really needed, considering the traders are supposedly responsible for their record profits during a time of economic hardship for the nation. Kind or reminds me of lawyers, even when they loose they win because you still have to pay them.
I wonder if the state the big 3 automakers is in has anything to do with it, since such a large portion of their sales were in vehicles with poor gas mileage. I recall reading that in 07 GM actually sold more trucks than cars. I can see how this year could have had a terrible impact on their income, and how $1 a gallon gas can help that situation now.
And why don't gas prices drop as fast as they go up?

to be completely honest with you guys, i truely believe bush had something to do with it...
i say this because he owns quite a bit in the oil industry, so there fore, if he allows gas prices to be jacked up, major profits, he wins too... now that hes out of office, hes made so much money, he doesnt have to do shit if he doesnt want to...
but now that hes leaving, he better make it look like hes trying to help the country by having the prices go down... just a little theory i have going here...
