Well if it were an L67 I would highly suggest a TB coolant bypass simply because rubber hose is much easier to melt through then an aluminum TB causing coolant to spray everywhere like a built in sprinkler system-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

DAMN! I never even thought of the coolant lines!
Damn-it BEN! I want a discount on this potentially dangerous, defective product.
You can't have it back mind you. I like it too much, but I want DAMAGES before your thingy without the thing-a-majigs ruins my car!
Have to admit I got a good laugh out of it!

Maybe that's why Ford's are soo unreliable, cause my 70mm Ford Racing unit has no provisions for that warm liquid in it either.

Oh shit, I don't even have one factory!!! WTF DO I DO?!?!?!?
Seriously, 94 3100's don't have one.
LOL @ the comments. Cool your TB from the EGR.... And a carb is not the same thing as a TPI/MPFI/SFI engine...Last edited by IsaacHayes; 10-22-2008, 04:18 PM.sigpic New 2010 project (click image)

LMAO, I live "up here" like a couple of those posters, above the friendly border, I have either never had the coolant TB passage or bypassed it on most of my cars (My current DD a '98 Malibu doesn't deserve the attention ) I've NEVER experianced any freezing or other problems from this.
The only car I had stick open, and I'm not even sure it would be due to ambiant tempurature was my Mom's 1985 Hyundai Stellar, which was carburated, and under powered.
