    Quick question...Will an in-line fuel pump pull fuel through a bad in-tank pump? I say maybe, but without enough fuel pressure to run an engine. 1994 Chevy Astro, 4.3 Litre. Reason I ask is a friend of mine did this and it is such a bitch to check pressure. Doghouse and all.
    If you are driving a Chevy, everything else, is just a blur. 3.4 Carbon Footprint.

    Yes it believe it will. But not a good idea to leave it permanent.

      I pulled the doghouse. Poured a little gas and it runs. I don't think the new pump can get up enough pressure to run the T.B.I. I guess I know what to do now. Pull the tank and get rid of his old pump and the new one. Thanx for the help. Time to play Mr. Goodwrench! AND NO SMOKING!!
