Quick question...Will an in-line fuel pump pull fuel through a bad in-tank pump? I say maybe, but without enough fuel pressure to run an engine. 1994 Chevy Astro, 4.3 Litre. Reason I ask is a friend of mine did this and it is such a bitch to check pressure. Doghouse and all.

I pulled the doghouse. Poured a little gas and it runs. I don't think the new pump can get up enough pressure to run the T.B.I. I guess I know what to do now. Pull the tank and get rid of his old pump and the new one. Thanx for the help. Time to play Mr. Goodwrench!
