wtf someone on ebay stealing pics of my car

haha someone on GAGT.com PM'ed me about theis ebay ad he came across and the clowns are using pics of my car to sell tail-light tint film.

newsflash genious its not film its night shades.

i sent them a message through ebay about the matter

did you get my permission to use the pics of my car in your ebay ad.

FYI smartguy its not even film on my tailights.

i want you to remove the pics of my car from the ad or else i will seek legal advice and be pursuing this matter of the stealing and un-paid use of the pics of my car.

what do you guys think i should do about it. not only are they stealing pics of my car but they are false advertising the crap they are selling.

it's happened alot to the Jbody guys.. send Ebay a message and they'll usually take care of it.

I definitely agree it is shady that they are using your pictures for their advertising especially since it isn't even their product.

Unfortunately from the legal angle, there really isn't anything you can do. Anything posted on the internet is fair game unless you have a copywrite on it or such. There was a case in which a guy posed as a female on craigslist and got other men to send in nude pics of them and posted them on the net. It was sleazy but legal.

That being said, they have NO right to sell their product falsely like that. What you can do is notify ebay. They usually don't put up with that crap and will most likely take done the sale.

sent them a letter. and i also sent him a letter. its just kinda stupid to steal someones pics to sell a product which is not even whats on the car.
he stole them off my photobucket. they were one of the few i didnt have in a locked folder.

another note when i got pulled over like a year and a half ago, the cop that stopped me was like are these covers on the tail-lights and he even tried to get his finger nail behind it like you would a headlight cover.

well it seems he stopped using the pics of my car but now he's using someone else's car.

the funny thing is all the pics he was using from me and this car are not even a film, its nightshades on the tails. i feel bad for anyone who buys from this guy cause i can bet you the product doesnt look like the pic.

The tail light smoke wrap vinyl is precut and can be easily applied with soapie water

1. Learn how to spell "soapy".
2. Last time I tried to tint a curved back window in my old Prelude that had very little curve to it the tint job failed miserably, so how does this vinyl film work so much better?

i dont know the guy seems like he doesnt know what he's selling.

i would like to see pics of the ACTUAL film on a tail light or being applied not pics he STOLE of someones car.

guess my message i sent to him got the point across cause shortly after that he changed the pics to someone elses car.
