One problem with an Iphone is it will never measure up to the features an 8525 or an 8925 have... Those phones with windows mobile 6.1 or 6.0 work and have so many more features that benefit those that want to use the phone as a PDA, Apple is still lacking in that integration into what owns ~90% of the market.

I am not Interested in using the phone as a PDA. I also don't like windows. Mom just got a blackjack II and it is one of the most complicated things to figure out. She has had it for two weeks now and still has trouble using it. After only 30 minutes of playing with my iPhone, she wants one for herself.

A blackjack is not comparable to a HTC or Tilt, the screen is so much smaller, and doesn't have touch capabilities... its like a blackberry with windows mobile and if you ask me a blackberry is one of the hardest pda phones to work with. I hate their txt setup and I hate how they navigate.

Comparing a full faced keyboard 2.4" screen pda phone to a Iphone is a little bit different.

If she had used a tilt or something that had a slide out keyboard touch screen and a better interface I think it would be different.

Also Apple has always gone for simplicity rather than features.

Not starting a debate, I was just replying to this post
If your looking to buy a new phone go with the iphone. If you use all its features it definately makes it worthwhile. It syncs all your contacts, email, music, calendar events and such from you computer which is nice. The GPS feature is nice also, i dont get lost anymore. The apple app store, where you can download shit tons of programs is pretty cool, i mean this phones twice as intelligent as I am. Only downside i can think of is the speakerphone isnt very loud. Im going to get that dynolicious program and test it out this weekend, see how many horses my cutlass is pushin haha.
because really the Iphone is not for everyone, and is still overpriced in comparison to phones that can do more. It took them a second revision before they even had 3G, Hell I had that on my CS-500 before the Iphone was even popular.

Yea ill agree that if your talking strictly business go for the htc or tilt, but other than that the 3g iphone kicks ass in its ability to easily surf the web and still function as the best mp3 player out there. My friend as a tilt and its cool, but I make much better use of the iphone and all its simplistic yet amazing features. The app store tops it all off too. Bottomline you wont be dissappointed with the iphone.

I looked at a tilt before I got the iPhone. The did not have a functioning model so I could check it out, plus the wanted $200.00 more for it.
