ok...well i had some jackasses break into my car just recently and dont think they were to smart as to what they were really doin...but they took my cd's and my faceplate. they tried to rip out the deck but their lil screwdrivers were no match for the nut/bolt setup i have goin on. I got a Pioneer DEH-P5200 deck.....i dont feel like replacing the entire deck unless i absolutly have to, my question is this....how hard would it be to go about aquiring a new faceplate for it?? think i can call pioneer and get a new shipped out to me?? I got it from a friend so there is no reciept, there is no warranty. I just want everything to be back to the way it was before these fukktards molested my beast. Any advice on this would be greatly appriciated. And if the face can be replaced...anybody got any clue as to how much somthing like that would cost?? Thanks alot....

You will be out of luck, unless the audio companies have changed their practice in the past few years. I used to be heavy into car audio and was buddies with a local shop. They had people come in all the time wanting to get a faceplate, but the manufacturer's wouldn't sell them separately. The reason being, who is to say you just didn't steal the deck w/o the faceplate, and are just trying to get the face so you have a complete unit? I "think" there might have been 1 or 2 companies that did do it, but for the cost of just the faceplate, you might as well just replace the whole radio.-Brad-
