  • New Ride Sport VAN

Well I currently car pool with 5 guys to work 40-50 miles each way. We had a 6th guy interested and we all talked about getting a van. Well enoughs enough right? I finally volunteered to find us a suitable ride for us to call go in on together. Naturally I wanted to keep it in the 60 degree family and there was only one way to go. I started looking at late 90's pontiac transports and chevy ventures. I had resolved that there are no good deals left on ebay for vehicles these days but decided to check it out. Well I found a deal and here it is!

    1998 Pontiac Tran Sport
    105k original miles
    1 owner
Fully loaded! power passenger sliding door, cruise, side curtain airbags, 7 passengers, 3400 v6 (got 26 mpg on the way back from jersey) DIC, steering wheel controls, ICE COLD AC (right Larry thanks for coming!), alloys, new tires, trans fluid, engine oil, brakes and alternator!

Cost of purchase $2226.26! Blue book value $4800! I love used american cars!!!!!! Nothing wrong with it and the valve cover rtv looks new so I think the intake gaskets were replaced!!!! Hahahah it is so comfy and roomy! I must be getting old when I take comfort over performance! The guys loved it and can't believe the deal I got! check it out!

Should of picked this up. It's a little pricey but so is the look on your local Corvette drivers face when you destroy his exalted ride.

Not bad. I prefer the dustbuster style myself.

I didn't know these vans didn't come with a tach cluster. I thought even the Venture had a tach cluster.

                    My dustbuster gets 30 MPGs.
