We went fishing today, the only thing we caught was a view

I was the only one who didn't hurl, the seas were 6-8 feet.

try having water splash over the flight deck....the flight deck is about 95 feet from the sea. those are rough seas.

but on a carrier, its not rough at all.

now a 33ft aluminum boat with outboards in the bearing sea was rough.
A joint task force project in alaska and i get stuck on a boat as an navy engineman and wasnt alowed to work on it cause it was contracted to a small local shop by the army. what a shitty 6 months that was.

anyways....nice pics. i cant wait to get into florida!

Come on down! The water was 78-79 degrees today

Have the Racoon/Fishing eyes from the su - you know when you get the sunburn...

I've been in 10-12' seas on a 50' Hatterus, couln't imagine what the Bearing Sea is like, specially when a lot of the fishing boats around here are bigger than 33', lol..

I remember going under a hurricane before (was on a sub for 4 years). Usually once we were ~100ft down, all way nice and smooth. When we were under the hurricane, ~200ft down, we were rocking like we normally did on the surface. That sucked. And when we were on the surface, it just blew... Subs just aren't designed to float around on the surface.

        Nice pictures though!

            Yeah, yeah...

You still planning on stopping by in the next couple of days? Just let me know when. Maybe my car will still be here and you can admire the ashes...

Man that looks so familiar! lol When I was there we got there on a Sunday afternoon, and pretty much crashed (non stop driving from Missouri). The thing was, it was sunny and the waves were normal and people were on the beach. The next day it was storming with winds that would blow you over and the tide was against the wall until we left the next weekend!! lol

Odd? You can almost set your watch to 3:30 in the summer - that's when it rains, lol. The sun bakes enough water into the clouds by then

The screwed up part was we were supposed to be there a week earlier but my friend's secretary screwed up and another worker booked the same week and couldn't re-schedule so we had to go a week later, when the bad weather hit.
