I work at an Arch/Eng firm, and we have to call jurisdictions all the time for City code information, as well as talk to Clients when problems occur. I remember talking to one of the Architects once about having issues getting a hold of someone. She mentioned a time she needed to talk to someone and they would never return emails or phone calls. She went from calling once a day, to twice a day, to finally every hour. After a couple of days, she filled up the person's voicemail box and amazingly she got a call back. So that would be my recommendation. They will eventually get back to you.

That or send an an email every hour for a couple of days. They'll get the hint soon enough.

My mom always recommends leaving a message talking about calling the state commissioner about stuff. When my aunt and uncles house caught fire, the insurance place took over two weeks to send out an adjuster to assess it, so they called the state commissioner. The next day the adjuster was out there. Granted he wasn't in a good mood because he got chewed by a state official, but he finally got off his lazy rear end and did his job. Also tell them you are in a large car club with 5k+ members and this shoddy service has been made known to everyone on the board so they know what to expect if they do business with gmpd, and that you are updating what is going on on a regular basis to keep people posted.

It's a sign of the times, buisness is hurting and costs are being cut. When I called them in the past I talked to a person. That's how I confirmed the ID of the steel crank relative to the cast crank having been given shipping weights for the two stock numbers listed.

When I shop on ebay for example, I usually steer clear of high volume sellers because I know they are unlikely to be able to respond in a reasonable time if at all due to the volume should a problem arise. I believe it's the department of agriculture that handles buisness complaints, at least it is in Tallahassee Florida and they were quick about requesting an explination on the customers behalf.

I'm kind of surprised about this, Flow Motors has been a decent place to do business with in the past - my family has bought several vehicles from them over the past couple decades and I've paid a visit to their parts counter a few times.

FYI, the day after I contacted them (for the third or 4th time) they contacted me back right away and said that these were on a GM national backorder, and they would ship them as soon as they could. Later on that evening, I got a FedEx tracking number. 2 days later, I have them
