  • any1 else have retarted freinds?

ok so my friend calls me up all excited because he was in like 2 street races today (retarted!). and he won one of them!!! he has a 99 subaru base model, auto, fart cannon. it does like 17s in the qtr mile... the race he won was against a scion TC... i guess the scion had a getto exhaust (look who is talking i thought to my self lol) and he raced him for like 3 miles up to 110. my friend wont accept the fact that scions tc are low 15sec cars. and he even said "that isnt that much faster anyways" LOL

i have a feeling he is gonna be bragging to every1 about this...

now he is out lookin for more races (IDIOT!!). i really hope he gets a nice big ticket

do people like this piss any1 else off besides me?????

    Retarted?

I once raced a TT mitsi 3000 and beat him. I didn't go over the speed limit and yes it was TT. I did it for shits and grins and when I heard his turbos spool up I thought here it comes!! but he never gained on me I slowly walked him!!! I think he was pissed cause I let off and he got in front of me and locked up the brakes!!! LOL According to a few car guys I know they said that car was ran hard and put back wet so that explains why he never could pull on me. This was back when my 3100 was bone stock. It made my day hahaha. So things like this are possible. Perhaps the scion was a really shitty driver? lol

tc's are slow as crap and 110 sounds about right. i remember i was going home on the highway and one of those tc's kept bugging me.

I had a 5 spd dohc gp gtp with only a few mods and wasted his arse. Of course the mod that counted most was probably the chip and my new speed governor of 199....lol.

        so i cant spell lol.

well he thinks his car is faster than scion tc's now... and yeah it could have been a bad driver. i guess i used to be that way, maby its an age thing...

EDIT: car and driver says they do 15.1qtr mile... compard to a 17.. thats a huge difference, but yeah not a race car

I had some friends who were big rice burners back in the day. Always talking trash about how fast their cars were, when all I could tell they had done to them was a fart cannon and hot air intake, but they claimed it was worth big HP hahah. I asked one guy hey lets race for $5 and they were like no way man. I'm like come on my car's stock and you have a vtec swapped motor. They were afraid when I actually said let's do it! LOL. One guy even thought my car was RWD o_O

I have a friend that wants me to take my Trooper to the track. I wonder how fast it is... Not really the bragging rights for a 4x4 with the aerodynamics of a shoebox though.

We have a lot of ricers around here with the "fart cannons". My Trooper still might not be fast*, but at least I've done something real with it. I still really want to put something with >200hp in it though. I'm going to start gathering parts for a hybrid 3.4/3x00 build.

*well, next to other 1st Gen Troopers it's pretty darned respectable.

Yeah I don't refer to my car as "fast" but it's somewhat quick. It's surprised me by taking down cars that should have ate it for a snack though. I guess most people don't have their cars in good working order??

Yeah do the hybrid! get a 3500 top end, a hot cam, and headers!! That'd be a sight in a trooper!

I want headers bad, would have to be custom though. Trooper engine bays were designed for the I-4, not as spacious as you'd think.

To 40mph, you might be right, but I raced a Gt TT with my nninja 500 EX with lots of bolt-ons and he was gaining on me at about 50, but I would have left him in the dust if there was one more up-shift. This was a 0-~60 and was laughing at me at the stop light because I was driving a 500.

Alxsmt, it was funny tonight. We laft the shop at about 10pm, so there was no traffic, but my partner in his 2004 Toyota 16v i4 was doing bunouts ain the parking lot. Laughing because I stuck a Crane cams carb emmissions sticker on his car explaining that he as 1.6 Magnum rockers (when he really doesn't). We roll out at the stop light with 2 eastbound lanes we both floored our vehicles. My 200,000 miles F150 with tools weighing ~7,500lbs (according to the dump scale) smoked his 30k miles Toyota Corolla - woo-hoo, lol.

We were laughing that the sticker gave him 25hp...

This thing was a POS... His turbo's were probably shot. Like I said other people knew of the car and how bad off it was. I knew something had to be wrong with it. When I heard the turbos spool up is about the time I started walking him LOL
