Where do you guys get your local? or do you have to buy it from like summit or something?

I want to get something to coat my cat back exhaust system and I know VHT holds up really well so I wanted to try that out, but I hate to order from summit if I can find local.

Paint... to stop rust or some other reason?

To stop rust... this exhaust cost me $545 last thing I want is it rusting out. Also black paint will hide the rear bends a little so they are not so visible from behind the car.

try autozone i remember seeing some there

actually i bought some awhile back it was like 8 something a can

thats what i used on mine last time ii painted the pipes and muffler and its still holding good. did better this year since i didnt have the salt eating the muffler.

VHT is good quality but if possible use POR-15!!!!!!!!

We sell all VHT, POR-15, etc, etc.

There should be some place close that would sell it.
You have NEVER seen anything like it and it works!!!!!

Go to there web site and check it out.

I have had many that use it to paint there exhaust pipes, muffler, etc.
Make sure you use there, Metal Clean and Metal Ready to prep and etch it first, once you paint it, you CAN NOT TAKE IT OFF with ANYTHING but a grinder!!!

It's expensive but perment!!!!!!!!!

I was un aware of the fact that you can POR-15 a hot surface... I'm gonna look into that.

Black Velvet? withstands up to 1200*

Hrmm... I may just go that route instead. I know the reputation POR-15 has...
