  • how brilliant, MYT Engine. UNBELIEVABLE

its simply amazing. after researching this tonight, i emailed the creator and asked for a job. i want to be a part of this!! how did he think of this, why didnt i? what else does he have up his sleve? why isnt this more public? how freaking brilliant!

search you tube and watch all the videos

im so impressed with this. imagine the improvements that could be made, turbo!! tuned intakes and exhaust, 8 pistons, smaller, or larger versions, ones that run on water, or better yet waste! maybe im a nerd, but fuck it, this is seriously cool shit!

I don't see heavy machinery or the transportation department (goods) using those types of engines. They just dont produce a lot of torque. For people driving to work, going to the grocery store & other related activities it would be pretty realistic to use.

It's been around for a while. Small efficient, and powerful. The possibilities are endless.

Still is lacking real-world testing, you have to wonder if we have the kind of material needed to be that light and take the kind of stress of a high-torque application like that.

There have been several attempts at different styles of internal combustion engines. Most all have failed due to sealing problems and long term reliability. If any new engine cannot meet these 2 basic requirements they will fail. Only the Rotary engine comes close in matching the reliability of a piston engine but even that motor does not get recognized because it needs new apex seals at about 100,000kms and needs to burn oil in order to lube those seals. Just a short read about the engine above you will learn all demonstrations have been done with compressed air and only limited testing has been done of fuel. So only time will tell. But honestly electric engine are the future. In the not too distant future I can see gasoline users shunned from mainstream society.

only time will tell what the future is.... so true!

but i think this has a future. the rotoray was a good deal, im sure there are ways to improve it as well. a buddy of mine has a 3 rotor rx7 and has to run 2 cycle oil in his car to keep it from eating the apex seals!
