  • does anyone have an ALLDATA account?

If so, can someone get me some wiring diagrams? A friend of mine wants me to install cruise control into her 1991 Chevy SPORT VAN (big ass cargo van). I have already found out that it was OFFERED, and on top of all of that, it used almost the same components that were offered in my Cutlass Supreme.

I tried over at the automotive forums, but some asshat over there actually said that swapping in the cruise parts could be a nightmare, and I might even have to swap out the ENGINE ITSELF (as well as the complete dash wiring harness, and steering column) to do this, and that I was better off either getting an alldata account (which I can't afford at this time), or get an aftermarket unit and install it (see previous excuse for not doing it this way).

I have almost all of the parts seeing that I just removed my vacuum cruise control setup to instal the newer one into my car, and I want to throw these into her van, so I need some wiring help (in the form of diagrams). She does a lot of highway driving (she goes from south of Houston to Austin Tx once every 2 weeks, and it is about a 5 hour drive each way).

Anyways, can someone get me the wiring diagrams for the cruise control for both 1991, and 1993?

It is the full size CHEVY van with the 5.7 V8, and the AUTO tranny.

    Thanks

I have an account, but to access a new vehicle, you have to purchase a new vehicle. And that's $15 (if you already have an account). I want to say there are some other online sources out there, although none of them come to mind right now.

Well, I have alldata here but I don't know what a sport van is. G 10, G 20, G 30 van? Suburban? There is no listing for a sport van.

I think hers is a G10, but someone emailed me the diagrams last night.

            Thanks everyone.

Glad you got what you need.

For future reference, I have the access info from a local shop for Mitchell on Demand. Can't give it out the info, but I can get diagrams if needed.
